Moonsighting for Jumada-al-Oola 1423
July 10, 2002 (Wednesday):
According to calculations, it was impossible to see the crescent anywhere in the world except Hawaii and Pacific Ocean, and it was not seen from the places we got the report.

On Wednesday 10 July 2002 I could NOT sight the crescent even with 20*60 binocular although the westren sky was very clear.
July 11, 2002 (Thursday):

On Thursday 10 July 2002 I saw the crescent first with 20*60 binocular at 19:03 (that's 13 minutes after our local sunset)then with naked eyes at 19:16 until 19:32 and with binocular fixed on tripod until 19:40 that is 20 minutes before moonset. It was hazy the last 3 to 4 degrees above horizon.

The crescent moon was sighted this evening in various parts
of the country. We also saw it here in Durban.

Sighted the crescent with naked eye this evening of July 11, 2002 in Buena Park (30 miles south of Los Angeles), California. Local Time-20:20 hrs; Top horn between 12 & 1 and bottom horn between 7 & 8.
The crescent was on left side of sunset. Visibility was very clear.
