Samy Khadem-Al-Charieh (MCW member) from Berlin, Germany: Seen
We could see the crescent from 21:45 till 21:55 with binoculars. There were clouds rising from the horizon (about 5° were covered) and this was the reason why we could not see the crescent after 21:55 although its setting was near 23:00 for our location. How much we tried we could not see the crescent with naked eyes. Although some of us thought to see it for a moment, but we are not sure about this.

Muhammed Yasin Qamardeen (MCW member) from Iyana Ipaja, Lagos State, Nigeria: Not Seen
On Monday 26 June 2006, Sunset Time was 18:51 (cloudy wetsern skyat NW). The crescent is not visible From across the available report, no one claim to sighted the hilal of Jumadal thanni tonight from our observer report, from Damaturu in Yobe state it was raining; at Ife city, it was clear sky but not visible, Ilorin report is negative. And at Abuja, despite substantial clear western sky towards the SW the Hilal is not visible. The cloud at NW covered about 9 degree from the base and extend to 4 degree towards SW horizon.
