Jamadi-us-Saani's Moon is "Not Sighted" anywhere in Pakistan on Friday, 15-06-2007.
On Friday 15th June, 2007, I offically attended the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting at the Habib Bank Plaza building Karachi. I recieved report from 38 cities & towns of Pakistan that the moon is "Not Sighted" anywhere.

In Kuwait on Friday, 15 Jun 2007, I could not sight the crescent. It was dusty that the sun disc diappeared at 18:00 which is 49 minutes before our local sunset. But for the waning crescent (the old moon) on the morning of Thursday 14 Jun, 2007 I was able to see in the following order: moon rise at 3:35; first seen with binocular and immeadiatly with naked eyes at 3:44; last seen with naked eyes at 4:28 (that's 20 minutes before sun rise); last seen with 20*60 binocular hold by hand at 4:46; last seen with 10*50 SWAROVSKI BINOCULAR FIXED ON TRIPOD AT 4:52 which is 4 minutes after our local sun rise which was at 4:48.

Today, June 15, the near perfect clear skies turned into a dusty evening and blocked most of sun light two hours before sun set. In these conditions, I couldn't sight the moon for today.

I was not able to sight the moon on the night of June 15 here in Beirut. I tried for 25 minutes with my 7*50 binocular. The western horizon was a little bit hazy.

On June 15, Six (06) persons were present in Merkiche station and have tried to observe the Jumada II 1428 crescent but it wasn't seen. The western horizon was hazy. They have used two binoculars : 60x20 and 50x10.

Negative sighting in Oxford. A group of seven of us attempted moonsighting at my usual site at the end of the 29th day of Jumada I (Friday, 15 June 2007). The horizon was overcast and the crescent could not be sighted. We received the report from Meknes, Morocco of negative sightings there despite clear skies. This news and the expectation that there are no positive sightings east to our longitude are sufficient for us to complete this month and the first of Jumada II in the UK should be on Sunday, the 17th of June.

The moon of Jamaadiyul Ukhraa 1428 has been sighted on Saturday, 16th June 2007 in Perth and other states, therefore the moon-sighting committee of Australia and Majlis ul Ulamaa of Australia have declared that the month of Jamaadiyul Ukhraa will start from Sunday, 17th June 2007.

In Kuwait on Sat 16 Jun 2007 the crescent was seen in the following order: First seen with binocular at sunset 18:48; first seen with naked eyes at 18:57; last seen with naked eyes at 19:52; last seen with binocular at 20:01; moon set at 20:28. The weather was with fine dust.

Hilal was sighted to-day Saturday 16 June 2007 in Mauritius at 13:48 U.T with 10x binoculars first, then with naked eye. Sky was slightly cloudy. Hence, 1st Jumada II, 1428 will be Sunday, 17 June for Mauritius.

In a tiny island of Zanzibar today 17/06/2007 is first of Jamad II. On Friday we had failed to sight the Hilal as result we have completed 30 days.

On Saturday the 16/6/2007 I saw the New Moon from Matsliach, near Ramlah,
Israel. The location is about 31° 55'N & 34° 52'E. Sunset was at 19:48 local time.
First sighting was at 19:57 local time, with naked eye. I confirm it with
10x50 binocular.

The Hilaal for Jamadith Thani was seen in most parts of South Africa on Saturday evening, 16 June 2007 (the end of the 29th Jamadal Ula in South Africa). The official first day of Jamadith Thani will correspond to Sunday, 17 June 2007.
