Story of a Wise Man

A wise man celebrated Eid on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Dubai and caught a flight @ 3 pm to travel to Kerala, India and he reached there @ 10 pm (local time). Eid in Kerala was on Sunday, October 5, 2014 and he too observed the same thinking that there won’t be no harm in duplicating a festival and the prayer thereof. He had to go to Bangalore, India for a purpose and flew @ 7 pm on the same day and reached there at around 9 pm.

Eid in Bangalore was on Monday, October 6, 2014 and this time he was little irritated and queried an answer with the scholars who replied that you should celebrate the Eid on all 3 days quoting the below verse from Qur’an.

(Qur'an 2:185) Ramadhan is the (month) in which the Qur'an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So whoever is present during that month should fast. (means, one should act as per the month one witnesses)

The wise man was very much astonished and thought that the days were different in all the three occasions but the date remained the same though..!

He thought, "Where ever I go, the Eid follows….What is this!"

He stopped the journey there and started thinking, referring books....and he could find a beautiful verse in the Holy book:

(Qur’an 62:5) The similitude of those who carry Torah, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah. and Allah guides not people who do wrong.
