Therefore, the month of Jamadiyul Oula will begin from Wednesday, 15th of November 2023.

Not Seen: MCW member Zaid Duch from GUJRAT, INDIA reported: On Tuesday, 14th of November 2023 (29 Rabi at-Thani, 1445) between 17:42 to 18:30 (Sunset 19:55 & Moonset 18:32) at Location: Navi Masjid, Nadiad, Gujarat, India; We group of 3 people attempted to sight the crescent moon (Hilal) of Jumada al-Awwal 1445. The horizon was partly covered with clouds. We were Not able to sight the Hilal.

The sky was very hazy.

Hence tonight 14 November will be the 1st night of Jamaad Ul Awwal and Wednesday 15 November will be 1st day of Jamaad Ul Awwal 1445. Weather was cloudy with small openings.

Seen: MCW member Mohamedraza H.Janmohamed from Sanford FL reported: The Moon-sighting Sub-committee wishes to inform the community that the new crescent for the month of Jamadi-ul-Awwal was sighted in the south-west region of USA, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Therefore, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2023 is established as the 1st Day of Mahe Jamadi-ul-Awwal, 1445 AH for all of USA.

      1. Seen: MCW member Dr Javad Torabinejad from Blacksburg VA reported: This evening (Wednesday, November 15, 2023), the crescent moon was sighted in Blacksburg, VA The western part of the sky was mostly cloudy with a streak of clearing hugging the horizon. I waited for some time for the moon to appear around 6:22 pm EST in that opening. If not for the clouds, it could have been sighted much earlier. The horns were approximately at 1:30 and 7:00 O'clock. The moon disappeared behind distant mountains at 6:32 pm (actual moonset: 6:39 pm).
